Energiegeladen, direkt und mit einer Portion Attitüde – Another Damn Disappointment (A.D.D.) aus Sacramento, Kalifornien, hat sich seit der Gründung 2001 mit ihrem eigenständigen Sound, geprägt von den Epitaph/Fat Wreck Bands der 90er, zu einer festen Größe in der Szene etabliert. Laut, düster und immer mit Herzblut und Haltung waren sie zwei Mal Teil der Vans Warped Tour und haben unzählige Shows sowie Support-Gigs für Szenegrößen wie Authority Zero oder Guttermouth gespielt.
Die letzten Jahre waren eine Zeit voller Extreme – geprägt von Rückschlägen, Verlust und verdammt viel Schmerz: Der Tod ihres Gründungsmitglieds und Bassisten Casey Marsullo bei einem Autounfall im Jahr 2016, war ein schwerer Schlag. Casey war weit mehr als nur ein Bassist – er war das Herz der Band, immer voller Energie, immer mit Blick nach vorn. Trotz des Verlusts entschieden sie sich weiterzumachen – genau das, was Casey gewollt hätte. Statt daran zu zerbrechen, wurde ihre Trauer zum Treibstoff, aus Stillstand entstand neue Energie. Was lange ungewiss schien, ist jetzt Realität: Ihr neues Album "Bedlam" ist endlich da.
Aufgenommen noch vor dem Verlust ihres Freundes, wurde "Bedlam" über die Jahre mit Bedacht und viel Professionalität fertiggestellt – nicht als Schatten der Vergangenheit, sondern als kraftvolles Zeugnis ihrer Weiterentwicklung. Gemischt und gemastert von Jason Livermore in den legendären Blasting Room Studios (Descendents, Rise Against, Black Flag, Frenzal Rhomb) und mit einem Artwork von Joel Abad (u.a. NOFX, Pennywise, Mad Caddies) ist es mehr als nur ein weiteres Album – es ist ein Statement.
Veröffentlicht wird "Bedlam" über das eigene Label Disappointed Records in limitierter Vinyl-Auflage, auf CD und digital. Ein Album, das zeigt, dass manche Dinge einfach Zeit brauchen – und genau deshalb so gut sind. Wer A.D.D. kennt, weiß: Sie sind noch lange nicht fertig.

High-energy, raw, and a whole lot of attitude – Another Damn Disappointment (A.D.D.) from Sacramento, California, has been a staple in the scene since their formation in 2001. With a unique sound shaped by the Epitaph/Fat Wreck bands of the ‘90s, they’ve carved out their own space. Loud, and dark but always fueled by passion and conviction, they’ve played the Vans Warped Tour twice and shared the stage with punk icons like Authority Zero and Guttermouth.
The past years have been a rough ride – filled with hardships, heartbreak, and an overwhelming amount of pain: The loss of founding member and bassist Casey Marsullo in a car accident 2016 was devastating. More than just a bassist, he was the driving force behind the band, always pushing them forward. Despite the heartbreak, they carried on, knowing that’s what Casey would have wanted. Instead of breaking, they turned grief into fuel and stillness into new energy. What once seemed like an open-ended question is now a reality: Their new album "Bedlam" is finally here.
Recorded before the loss of their friend, "Bedlam" was carefully and professionally completed over the years – not as a shadow of the past, but as a powerful testament to their evolution. Mixed and mastered by Jason Livermore at the legendary Blasting Room Studios (Descendents, Rise Against, Black Flag, Frenzal Rhomb) and featuring artwork by Joel Abad (NOFX, Pennywise, Mad Caddies), it’s more than just another album – it’s a statement.
